Love Mommy, Daddy and
Mommy's sweet little man! I miss you so, so much!
Kodiak, a norwegian elkhound died at age 14 a week before Christmas as she lost her battle with cancer. She served as a therapy dog, bringing joy to children in elementary schools as they would read to her as they practiced reading aloud, in homes for disabled children, and she also brought joy to senior citizens living in nursing homes. She was a miracle dog when she overcame bloat. She was staying with a sitter who noticed she was in trouble. The surgeon estimated another hour could have been fatal and my research shows that dogs rarely survive this issue.
Kodiak also enjoyed kayaking and is the only dog I've ever had that just bounced gently by my side without pulling me around the block. She was a pound rescue and was such a sweet and quiet pooch. We miss her so!
Anna - 1997 to 2017 - We miss you so much! Not a day goes by that we don't think of you and wish you were here with us. You are forever in our hearts. We love you very much…Mommy and Daddy.
